I have an Sonos Arc and era 100’s bought 2 era 300 and have had a terrible time hooking them up to all play the same thing at once. I keep getting a small crackle sound from the era 300’s. I figured they were defective exchange them and even the new ones are doing the same thing! I reset my router and all the speakers to factory settings and still happens. Why is this happening??

As you have discovered, Factory Reset does not usually cure fundamental issues, but it does cause extra work. It also deletes some diagnostic data that might have been useful for identifying the fundamental issue. What is your music source?

Note that a surround system consists of the soundbar, two surround speakers, and one or two suwoofers. Additional speakers will be a second “Room" and there will be a time delay when “Grouping" this second Room with the TV Room while playing video.

I suggest that you work with SONOS phone support to identify the noise source.
