can I use a single Five as rear speaker with Arc for home theatre?

Hi, looking to build a simple home theatre setup for movies and music. Not necessarily wanting to buy a separate sub. Is it possible and a good enough solution to use just a single Five speaker, horizontally, as rear surround speaker to supplement the Arc soundbar? I’m hoping Arc+Five would get low enough for my purposes as opposed to Arc with Ones. Dual Fives might be too costly for me.

Thank You

You have to have a pair of matching speakers, the app just won’t let you add them otherwise. A pair of Fives for rear duties is overkill and you would be better off with a pair of Sonos One SL (No mic) or the Symphonisk speakers from IKEA.

Edit: for low Bass you need a sub, rears just don’t have the low frequencies you are after.
