No change in devices but no longer see Atmos in Now Playing on the Sonos app. I can get Multichannel PCM but no Atmos.
 

My Apple TV 4K device used to see a separate Living Area set of speakers as an audio choice. Now I only see the Apple TV. When I select that option all I get is AirPlay, no Atmos. Apple told me to contact Sonos. Sonos chat support no help. Recommendations?

98 minutes on the phone with Sonos yesterday. Transient recovery of Atmos on some apps, now gone again. Not ready to give up yet. 


What did they do that helped (be it temporarily)?


Reboot the Apple TV and leave the Audio Output setting on the default setting. You should never have to change this setting. Changing this setting is probably why you are losing Atmos audio.

Also be sure you are playing an actual Dolby Atmos audio source.
