Apple TV 4K Connection Issue

Hello everyone! Forgive me if this is an elementary question but I am confused on how to connect my Apple TV 4K to my Sonos Arc (w/ Sub) when I’m using the only HDMI port on Apple TV to plug into my TV’s eARC port. My TV is the Sony Bravia X90K. I then connect my Sonos to my TV directly (there is only one eARC port) and Apple TV asks me to manually connect to the Arc every time. Is there a way to connect Apple TV both to the Arc and TV? Should I use an AV receiver? Thanks so much!!

The Arc connects to the TV’s HDMI eARC port. The Apple TV connects to any of the TV’s other HDMI ports.

 

Set your TV to these settings for the best audio quality:

eARC: Auto

Digital Audio Out: Auto 1

Dolby Digital Plus Output: Dolby Digital Plus

Pass Through Mode: Auto
