Hey folks,
So I recently got a Sonos Arc (super happy with the sound 🔥), but I’ve been noticing something weird… every now and then it just disconnects randomly from the app. Sometimes it takes a minute to reconnect, other times I need to restart WiFi.

I searched a bit and found a couple of similar reports, but not sure if it’s a common issue or just my setup messing up.

  • Using Arc with eARC on LG TV

  • WiFi is mesh (TP-Link Deco)

  • Everything else works fine on the network

Anyone else facing this? Or maybe some hidden setting I should tweak?

For me sounds like a network issue. Is Sonos Arc connected via wifi to your network? If so, please make sure you haven’t set auto channel but a fixed channel for 2,4 and 5 ghz wifi. 


In conjunction, it might be beneficial to reserve IP addresses for your Sonos, in case there is some confusion in the IP addresses table in the router.

And for the record, no, I’m not having any disconnects on either of the two Arcs I have set up in my home. One is connected to an LG, the other to a Samsung. Both TVs are updated to the latest firmware.
