Amp+passive speakers and Era 300 - Dolby Atmos?

Hi,

if I was to connect my passive speakers to an Amp as front speakers in a home theater setup, and then couple them with two Era 300 for the rear channels - would I get Dolby Atmos sound? Obviously, the passive speakers are not able to play Dolby Atmos, but the Era 300s are. Do they need a Arc/Beam gen2 for Atmos to work, or can the Amp work as well?
