Amp+passive speakers and Era 300 - Dolby Atmos?

Question

Hi,if I was to connect my passive speakers to an Amp as front speakers in a home theater setup, and then couple them with two Era 300 for the rear channels - would I get Dolby Atmos sound? Obviously, the passive speakers are not able to play Dolby Atmos, but the Era 300s are. Do they need a Arc/Beam gen2 for Atmos to work, or can the Amp work as well?

You cannot use the Era 300s as surrounds with an Amp.The Era 300s can only be used as surrounds with an Arc or Beam/gen2Surround sound guidelines and limitations
