Sonos doesn’t release future plans for what they’re going to bring to market. I’d assume that’s to keep ahead of the competition. 

There’s a pretty good market for used product, however, you may want to look second hand. In fact, I think that Sonos also has a ‘refurbished’ sales site.

You may want to check those options, although every time I’ve looked here in the US, things like eBay aren’t that much lower than new, as most people really value their equipment, and it holds pretty good resale value.
