Sonos One SL not linking properly with Arc

Just got an ARC and 2 One SLs as surrounds. The Arc is connected via Ethernet and the SLs via WiFi.

The SLs keep disappearing from the app and trying to set them up as surrounds shows an error on the app and then presets them as connected. When trying to play surround move or to calibrate true sound the surround speakers do not respond or cannot be found. The WiFi reception near the speaker is very good.

Diagnostic number: 1562118009

Thanks for helping, this is highly frustrating.

Hi @Blackfrolic

Welcome to the Sonos Community, and sorry for the delay.

The diagnostics indicate that one of your speakers (RR) is trying to work on channel 6 while the others are on channel 1. As 6 is a quiet channel there, we’ll use that channel.

Please open the Sonos app on a smartphone or tablet and select Settings » System » Change Sonosnet Channel » 6.

I recommend rebooting all three speakers after this, turning the Arc on first and waiting for a solid white light before turning on the surrounds.

If the Arc will remain wired to ethernet permanently, please remove your WiFi credentials from the system: Settings » System » Network » Networks » Tap the “-” button next to your network name.

If you have issues after this, please get in touch with our technical support team.

Be sure the One SLs are not paired together as a stereo pair before you try to add them as surrounds. Have you tried connecting  your Arc through WiFi?

@Blackfrolic The wifi is still ON in the Arc? Although it is connected thru ethernet, wifi is needed for surround speakers connection.
