Upgrading from Beam to Arc. Do I need to remove the Beam from my system first?

If you have surrounds and SUB, first remove them from BEAM before reassigning them to ARC.

You’ll likely want to rename BEAM in any case because the controller will show BEAM as being offline for a few days (in the assumption that you are painting or such and BEAM will eventually be back in the original Room), preventing you from assigning the original Room name to ARC in the interim.

If you’re going to sell or give it away, do a factory reset. If you’re moving it to a different room, just rename the room.
