With the new update in PlayStation 5, we can use Dolby Atmos, but if I activate it, sometimes I hear a loud pop. Are you thinking of a quick solution to this issue?

My setup is Sonos ARC, Sonos Sub Gen 2, and two Sonos SL as surround sounds. My TV is a 65” LG C2

The popping is a known issue for some Sonos users. Sonos is aware and is working on a fix:

To minimize the popping with your setup, follow these guidelines:

Make sure the Digital Sound Output setting on the TV is set to Pass Through, not Auto.

Set the Output Device on the PS5 to HDMI Device (AV amplifier).

Make sure the HDMI Device Type setting on the PS5 is set to AV amplifier, not Soundbar.

Only use the Dolby Atmos setting on the PS5 when playing actual Dolby Atmos content or games that use the 3D audio engine. Use the Linear PCM or Dolby setting for all other 5.1 and stereo content.
