My playbar keeps disconnecting from TV

When I turn my TV on, no sound comes through the playbar. I previously found a help topic that said to unplug all HDMI devices and plug back in making sure the PLaybar is first.

This works to fix the immediate problem, but I have to take these steps everytime the TV is turned on. Is there a way to force the playbar to keep a permanent connection to the TV?

This will be one of the devices connected to the TV via HDMI, stealing CEC control away from the Beam. If you think it’s the Apple TV, then turn off the HDMI CEC control in its “settings/remotes and devices/control TV & receivers” .

Hi. I am not sure quite what you mean, as the Playbar has no HDMI connection.

Make sure you have TV Autoplay enabled in the Playbar's room settings.

Thanks John B.

Sorry - I meant Sonos Beam, not playbar.

I checked the Autoplay settings and they are already set to TV Autoplay. The problem seems to be with a conflict with the Apple TV.

Simply unplugging the Apple TV seems to make the Beam work again - is this a known issue?
