Hi all, I am having trouble with multichannel LPCM since the update. I have the LG CX television which is set to pass through sound. Apple TV 4K and Xbox One X. Both devices set to uncompressed 5.1 and the Sonos Arc reports no signal or sometimes does play sound but it cuts in and out every second and is unwatchable.

Is this a general problem since the update or something wrong with my system setup?

No one???

Hi

Do you need to have everything set to LPCM?

I have only set my OPPO 203 to LPCM so I can play my DTS discs, everything else plays Atmos

Xbox set to bitstream Dolby Atmos and is ok. But Apple TV needs to be set to “Auto, Atmos available”, which means it will play Atmos if the content has it, but if not then it will send Multichannel LPCM. So unless what you watch is Atmos then you get no sound. You can change the sound to be output as bitstream Dolby Digital 5.1, but then you don’t get Atmos where available.
