Mounting Arc above 98 inch tv

Would it be okay to mount the Arc above a 98 inch TV I just purchased?  It will be sitting on the floor with the provided legs which I believe have about 3.5 inches of clearance below the TV.  The only option I see it to mount it above.  I keep reading don't but it's always a TV that's wall mounted and would be much higher than my situation.

On the floor is really low for the TV but if that is going to work for you then mountkng above that 98 inch TV is going to put your Arc a bit over 4 feet from tne floor. That leaves enough height above it, assuming 8 foot ceilings that Atmos height shojld work.

If the TV was on a 3 foot stand then the remaining distance to the ceiling would be inadequate for good Atmos height.

Not preferred, no, as the upward firing speakers might be constrained, and you’d have trouble with Atmos encoded stuff, but none of us have your ears.
