I am in between mounting my playbar or not. Does it sound better one way or another? (Mounted vs sitting on cabinet below tv)

I had my playbar sitting on a cabinet before I mounted it and I could not tell any difference but it just might be me. In my situation I think it looks much better mounted on the wall right under the TV. Mounting also gives me more room on the cabinet for other items. YMMV.
