Hi

I don’t know if my issue is related to the 14.6 update but I noticed today that I had no sound from my surround (play 3) and my sub (Gen 2), only the Arc is working They are still present in the app under the my System view but now sound which every sources

When I reboot each of them, the sound comes back temporary, but when I switch to another source or audio format, thé Sound disappears again. Tried several times, same behavior

Thanks for your help

Maybe.

In the end, that channel moved from 40 to 60. Although this is one test, it seems to like operating on 40 in working operation and also after a reboot. When it moved (on this occasion) it correlates with the sound drop.

My own network only supports 36 to 48. But, as I understand, this is an adhoc channel created by Sonos HT so it does not have rely on my network capability.

I guess a way to prove this is affected users take a snapshot of their information whilst working, and then go back and check if the Operating on channel frequency has moved when the sound drops, Not sure what it all means, but if we find a correlation between affected users it might be a step forward?

When your system was broken just now did you happen to view that same status screen for your arc? Was the HT channel 5200 or 5300?

Doubt this is wireless related at all. I’ve had sync and drop issues; 100% of my system is wired. Arc, 2xOne’s, Sub - all ethernet connected. All wireless disabled on all Sonos speakers. The only wireless Sonos in my setup is my Roam and my Move, which don’t use SonosNet (they connect to your regular AP).

Weird. My living room system is showing 5ghz for the home theater and bonded speakers while my office system shows 2.4ghz channels for everything. Home theater channel is reporting as 0 on my office system

Just to confirm. You have wireless turned off in the controller app on all your speakers?

I did not catch a screenshot unfortunately, but I have observed that (when playing a movie) the Operating on channel never moves from 2412 - which is a 2.4Ghz channel 1 and where my Sonos Net is configured for.

Mode: INFRA (sonosnet)Operating on channel 2412Home channel is 2412

I will check this again and make sure I crab a screenshot.  However, at the moment the ARC seems to sit on the SonosNET channel 1, it creates a 5Ghz ad-hoc network when playing HT content, and I have seen that frequency move from 5200 to 5300 - at which point it seems to correlate to a sound break.

When you view that status screen for your arc you should see operating channel which would be 2.4ghz channel and HT channel which would be the 5ghz ad hoc network for the bonded speakers. I wonder if when this issue occurs the 5ghz channel for the arc and the bonded speakers are no longer the same

And which system (living room or office) is the one that is playing up?

Sorry see my previous post. I think this is working as expected for a system not in use at the time
