LC2 tv and Apple 4k tv device.

I have a  new Apple TV 4k box along with a two year old LG C2 tv.My Sonos  stuff consists of 1st gen Beam a couple of six year old speakers and a sub thats about 5 years old.All working fine along with Amazon Fire Cube and an Android box.The problem I have is I cannot get 5.1 sound from the Apple only pcm stereo..I have followed various online guides but no luck so far.Hopefully someone on here can help?

Hard to tell with the limited information. Initially, I would check a few things. First, update the software on the TV to ensure it is running the latest from LG.
 

Then I’d check the HDMI cable, making sure I’m using the Sonos supplied version, and reseating it, both in the ARC HDMI port in the TV, and the port in the Sonos Beam. If you’re not using the Sonos cable, I’d make sure the cable in use was at least HDMI 2.1 compliant. Older cables are restricted in bandwidth. 

After checking those, I’d likely call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

And I’d check the content being tested…make sure you’re choosing a movie that is at least Dolby Digital. Do not test with any YouTube content.
