Can Sonos separate my Playbase as - a center channel and base/sub base and…

make my (2) sonos play 1 as the front left channel and right channel making it 3.1?????

No. The Playbase, like all soundbars, is the right, center, left in one enclosure.

Indeed, there is no situation in which any Sonos speaker can be only a center channel.

I know the playbase’ capability but wanted to see if this has been done before. The playbae loses it’s ‘clear’ dialogue when paired with 2 sonos ones.

Anything grouped with a Sonos soundbar will lag behind for TV sources. There is no way to do what you wish.
