Bypass Sonos Beam

I have my living room set up with a Beam, two Ones for rear channels and a sub. The beam is in a TV armoire with the tv. When we are entertaining, we have the armoire closed and playing music. However, since the beam is in a closed armoire, is doesn't sound great and is muffled.

Is there a way to bypass/turn off the beam so music is just played through the 2 Ones and the sub?

No simple way, but have you tried setting the surrounds to “full” sound and upped the music play level to maximum?

I have used full - but haven't tried the music play level maximum. I'll try that.

I just wish there was a toggle switch to turn it on or off, but I'm sure there is a reason you can't.

Thanks.

Open the armoire.  The Beam will still play the music with the TV off.
