Has anyone successfully connected an iMac to their Beam? If so, what input/output did you use?

I just connected a SONOS Beam to my iMac (late 2013) using the included HDMI Cable, toslink converter and the connector on the picture:

. Works great.

I just used AirPlay -- open System Preferences, select Output, and you should see your Beam, using the room name you gave it when you set it up. No wires!
