When I play Apple Music through the Sonos iOS app using my Arc Ultra with Sub Gen 4 and Era 300 rears, playback is not gapless. On albums with seamless transitions between tracks, the Arc briefly cuts out during transitions — going completely silent until the next track starts.

 

The music playback setting for the Era 300s are set to Full, and Spatial Audio is turned off.

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas for a fix or workaround?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issue with gapless playback on Apple Music.

I don’t have Apple Music myself, but I have tested with Spotify on my system and that works fine. This could be down to the music service or your network, so I would suggest submitting a diagnostics then reaching out to our support team. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system and see why audio cuts out and can help you troubleshoot and resolve this.
