Arc and Sky Q interference

I took delivery of my shiny new Sonos Arc yesterday. I’ve installed it and plugged the HDMI into the correct HDMI port (port 2) on my LG C9. I’m getting fantastic Atmos from the Netflix app etc however…..as soon as I plug my Sky Q box into HMDI port 1, my tv defaults to the internal speaker and won’t allow me to change the setting back to the HDMI ARC output until I disconnect the Sky Q box.

Any ideas?

Hi. I’m expecting my arc tmr so can’t fully validate this idea and you may have checked, but what settings are in place in Sky Q Under Settings > Setup > Audio Visual > Digital Audio Output HDMI

I’ve got a C9 as well so can check tmr but maybe be worth checking Sky q first.

Hi, I think I have my Sky Q settings correct but TBF I’m not absolutely sure. I have the HDMI out on DD+ and the audio set to normal.

Hi. Did you manage to get any joy with this? Got mine finally set up & all seems ok with Sky Q so far.

Yeah, sorted it thanks. Turned out it was my hdmi switch that was the problem.
