Having serious issues connecting Ace to the App on my Pixel 7 pro. The App cannot find them at all. Here’s what i have tried so far

  1. uninstall re-install app
  2. factory reset of headphones
  3. installing the app on my work phone (iphone) and then connecting Ace. This worked fine, and the headphones are recognised there.  But the App on my Pixel 7 Pro still won’t find them, even after repeating combinations of steps 1 & 2 above together with switching off bluebutooth on the iphone.
  4. tried going through the suggestions on a previous thread

is there any way to actually have the Sonos App on Android recognise the Ace? If i can’t use them in combination with the Arc for movies/games or adjust the basic EQ I might just return them.

Enable multi-point option in the iPhone Sonos app first. Then try again adding them as any regular Bluetooth device to your Pixel phone.

As per Ace user guide found here

Multipoint

You can connect your Sonos Ace to 2 Bluetooth devices and automatically switch between audio streams. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on both of your devices.

In the Sonos app:

  1. Go to System Settings .
  2. Select your Sonos Ace.
  3. Navigate to Bluetooth, then toggle 2 Device Connections on or off.

Note2 Device Connections is off by default.

Unfortunately that did not work.

However, what does seem to have worked is after deleting the App, also deleting both the entire wifi and bluetooth history cache from the phone after that reinstalling/connecting seems to have worked fine.

Such a pain though, it really shouldn’t have to be this buggy.
