Hi all, Sonos is clearly terminally ill. The Company is completely deaf to the issues they have created with the useless new app. I know of no other Company that has survived after treating its customers with complete contempt like this. I think it is time to look elsewhere and if you are thinking of buying Sonos then think long and hard about it please. Buying Sonos now would be like buying a fax machine to send emails!!!

What, there was wasn’t enough room in the 875 other threads discussing the new app?  You just had to start a new one?

Who asked you??!! The community is as clunky and badly designed as the new Sonos app. I first installed Sonos as a multiroom and garden system in my villa in Portugal in 2007 and spent €000s on that installation and even although it was clunky and basic back then at least with the hand held controller with display you could navigate your music easily. If I want to start a new thread I will so but out!!!

I’m surprised you’re still a user, @Pickwick11 .  A year ago you posted that you were going to sell all your gear. Will you change your mind again, or is this just another empty threat?

If you (or anyone) can start a new thread, surely anyone can respond to it. I think that’s called free speech.

Just after that post I sold my duplex penthouse in Valencia and bought another penthouse which I am just about finished remodelling. All my Sonos and other personal possessions are in storage and I am renting until I move in. I have only a Roam here and WILL be selling all of my Sonos speakers when I have everything delivered to my new place.

I have a life, thanks. What I don’t have, but clearly you do have, is an attitude problem. Maybe it’s to do with living in a flat - sorry - a “duplex penthouse” giving you some kind of superiority or inferiority complex.
Either way, you don’t seem to take anyone else’s opinions into consideration. I’ll not comment more. Post your reply to this, so you have the last word, and we can just leave it others to draw their conclusions.

I’ve used 2 ERA 100’s for awhile and suddenly they both won’t connect.  Both died within days of each other?  Upgrade to HEOS?  Better?
