Hey guys, I just want to drop this here - I am extremely pissed on Apple for their sh**** ios 26. So, in the following days I will create a facebook/X account (never used these) specifically for publicly burning the 2 iPhones in our household and the watch ultra. I hate them so much! In light of this, Sonos better introduce the true play on Android, otherwise my next post will be me burning the Sonos gear. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but because of this “exclusive” feature for ios they will lay down next to Apple. Sorry Sonos!

What’s happening with your iOS 26? I’m suffering a couple of annoying bugs, but nothing to burn the terminals 😅

Wofe’s 13 pro max, my 15 pro max just switched from almost 2 days battery life to “7am to 5pm battery from 98% to 2%”. Same conditions, barely used… everything updated, etc. So, sorry to take it out on Sonos, but in my defense I don’t think I am the only one expecting the true play calibration on android.

As has been explained in many, many threads, the opportunity for Sonos to TruePlay the multitude of used microphones on Android devices seems slim, at best.

I suspect you’ll see more devices that self adjust, as many of their newer speakers do. Much easier for them to control.

That works for me! Unlike with the iPhones, it would really break my heart to hurt these babies :(

Frustration is a kind word. What I really feel about Apple at this point is pure hate. You know, like the one you might feel about thieves breaking into your home and taking everything while you’re sleeping.

When updating to iOS 26, it is normal that the first 24-48 hours will affect the battery drastically, after which it should return to normal.

If you go into settings on your iPhone and battery you can see exactly how much battery is used by various apps and on various days.

Also check what the phone is set to charge to in % min charged to 100%
Once done, check your battery status, if your battery is at 85%, remember that 100% charged is only 100% of 85% and will therefore not be able to hold power as long as if the battery was 100% new.

I have an iPhone 15pro and Ultra 2 and have no problems, however I would like to admit they use a little more battery but in no way something that affects them/me in everyday life.

(iOS 26.1 PB beta 4)

I understand what you’re saying, been there, done all that, the battery life changed drastically from one day to another. My giess is that the new ios does not handle background appa very well. But that’s not the topic here. I also understand that it is completely unachievable to have TruePlay on all this mish-mash of Android devices…
