I just bought the Sonos Beam Gen2 in December of 2025 and have it connected to my Samsung TV that I bought 5 years ago. I went through the setup procedure and the sound quality is very poor especially from my Samsung Blu Ray player. I used the HDMI cable that came with the Beam and it’s connected to the ARC connection on the TV. I have to turn the volume on the Beam to over 50 so I can hear and understand what they’re saying especially on the Blu Ray player.
