Sonos pushed the new app “update” in June which broke everything. Fortunately, you could roll back to an earlier edition that actually worked. But, no. Sonos forced an app update today and disabled earlier versions - the alternative being that my system ($1,000 invested) was bricked. And this * POS won’t even run - much less function as a halfway-decent music server. I’m not going to insult any people in any countries that Sonos fobbed off their QA to but, seriously, did you even have brain-dead monkey look at this steaming POS pile of code before you forced on it your users? I’m done with this *. I don’t know who Sonos answers to (media partners? advertising partners?), but it clearly isn’t its user community that pays hard-earned money for its products. So, farewell Sonos to you and the horse you rode in on.
