Mac Sequoia 15.0 on MacBook Caused Sonos System to become unavailable

Upgraded to Sequoia 15.0 on my MacBook which caused Sonos to be unable to find my system.

I followed Reddit online advise to check the settings: Settings/Privacy & Security/Local Network/Sonos, and toggled Sonos On, Viola! System found and music is back on in this place. Thais after spending an hour on the phone with both Sonos & Apple...Ever Onwards :)

Same issue. Works on iMac but not Macbook M2 both running OS 15.0. On the MacBook M2 the web version works; however, not the desktop app.

Interesting. Have you called Sonos Support to let them know? Unfortunately, they don’t monitor these forums, and getting hard data to them quickly might be helpful.

If you are having the issue on a MacBookAir M2, then I suggest deleting the Sonos desktop app. Then reinstall from the Sonos website. Try Version 16.4.2 / Sonos OS: S2 / Build: 81158074 … then open, sign in, connect to an Existing System.

Same issue here. Have to navigate to LocalNetwork and toggle Sonos on and off and then it works. No available sonos app update, latest macOS sequoia dev beta.

It does work without issue with my phone and iPad. Just a pain in the butt.

I have the same issue.  Have reinstalled S1 app, checked fFrewall and also Local Network,, nothing works.  Has anyone found a solution?

Glad you got it sorted out! It's wild how a simple toggle in settings can fix something that takes hours on the phone with support. Definitely filing this one away for future reference—thanks for sharing! 🎶🙌

Thanks for commenting, but you appear to have misunderstood my post.  Reinstalling the S1 app and checking the Firewall and Local Network settings did NOT solve the problem, so I am asking if anyone has.  How about you, SONOS?

Same issue, my firewall is company managed but everything is set correctly according to the instructions. Can’t use my system from my M1 macbook anymore (phone can still connect). Anyone found a way to solve this in the meanwhile?

Have you called Sonos Support directly to discuss it?
