Hello,

I have a new Sonos system installed in my home.  I play mp3 files held on a Windows PC using iTunes Playlists.

I have been able to access ALL of my iTunes playlists on my iPhone13.  However, there are too many.  It takes a long time to scroll through them all to reach the lower letter of the alphabet.

I would prefer to store a limited number (10-20) of my playlists in the Sonos app on my phone.  This will make accessing these 20 playlists easier and speedier.  When I change my listening interest, I will change the 20 playlists stored in the Sonos app on the iPhone.

Is there a way to store “selected playlists” rather than “all playlists” in the Sonos app on an iPhone?

Set those 20 as favorites.  See this link:

Thanks for the info, but that link shows a way to add specific songs as “Favorites”.

I want a way to add 20 out of 200 playlists to the Sonos Music Library / Imported Playlists section.  I want to not add ALL my playlists, I want to pick and choose the Playlists that I add, and leave the rest alone.

It works for playlists too.  Long press on the playlist, then choose "Add to My Sonos".  This is the only way to separate 20 playlists from all the others, unless you want to permanently delete the playlists from iTunes.  There is no way to pick and choose which playlists are imported, it's all or nothing.

I’ve gotten that to work, thanks!!  That allows me to have a smaller lists of preferred playlists which are more easily accessible.

Hmmmm, although that solution solves one of my problems (too many playlists in the Sonos app), it doesn’t solve my other problem (trying to put too many songs into Sonos).

I have an issue that I am going over the 10,000 song limit, and this is causing Sonos to stop importing my playlists once the 10,000 song limit is reached.

Is there a way to tell Sonos to ONLY import the playlists of my choosing?   In other words - instead of “Import All” can I choose “Import these 10-20 playlists only, and nothing else”?

The workaround you provided help me select which playlists appear in My Sonos Favorites, but it doesn’t stop the Sonos app from trying to upload / store EVERY playlist, in alphabetical order.

I would like to be able to remove all the songs from Sonos, and then tell Sonos to upload 20 playlists of my choosing, and only those 20 playlists.  That will both limit the number of playlists in Sonos at any given time, and also limit the number of songs in Sonos so that the total number of songs stays below 10,000.

As stated above, there is no way to pick and choose which playlists are imported.  It imports all (or attempts to import all).
