Halloween is over, and so are the games

It's a sad that I changed the correct answer to the wrong one 😢

It was nice that the two games were set across different forums and whilst I was not too familiar with the Deezer forum, I did personally learn a lot from that forum whilst playing the games and searching for the pieces in game 2.

They were good games too, enjoyable to play. My only thoughts are, it would have been even more challenging if the answers had been submitted privately and not for all to see, as I found the answer to David Bowie and Diamond Dogs by seeing Nina’s post in the Deezer community - I had several pieces of the Diamond Dogs cover, but not sure I would have identified the album so quickly, without first seeing her answer and comparing the jigsaw pieces I had collected to the album cover. 

I did go onto eventually find all pieces for the album anyway and think would have likely got the answer eventually (hopefully) but Nina’s post made things clearer, sooner. 

I did already have the pieces for The Cunjuring and identified that Horror Movie before seeing her post, but had decided to identify all before posting.

One or two of the Emoji’s in Game 1 left me wondering and think I may have got two (or more) incorrect🤔, but some could perhaps have two meanings like Blair Witch Project and Wood Witch for example.  I wondered whether to put both answers down in some cases, but that didn’t feel right, so I just chose what I thought might be closest. I wasn’t sure if we could have multiple guesses?

Anyhow, I suspect I didn’t win anything, but I enjoyed both games and personally would like to see more games at certain times of the year, like Halloween etc; and maybe have other forums join in too to make it a little more challenging for all.

I am the lucky winner!

I feel a little guilty since I couldn’t have done it without the assistance of the other participants in the Sonos and Deezer communities. I struggled to find some of those puzzle pieces and wasn’t certain about the Insidious answer. So thanks for the help everyone, especially @Ken_Griffiths.

And thanks to @Mike R. H. and @Jaime.Deezer and Sonos and Deezer for the opportunity. It was a welcome break from assisting people with their Sonos problems. I really enjoyed the games, especially the emoji movie game. I hope to see more of these games, and hopefully more participants, in the future.

As for the prizes, the Deezer Premium subscription is not relevant for me, because thanks to them, I have had a free subscription for a year and a half. Souvenirs, too, in case of victory, would hardly be delivered to Ukraine.

In any case, I am grateful to the organizers for such an event, because I found many new interesting films for myself ❤️

Certainly much deserved @GuitarSuperstar - and really glad to have helped, albeit in just a very small way with ‘Insidious’, to perhaps help get you past that winning post. Well done you 👍.

I indirectly had some help too from Nina Nebo (Deezer community) in identifying/naming the several jigsaw pieces I had collected for David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs, but she certainly beat me to that one hands down. I later went onto find the final two pieces of that jigsaw, which had eluded me for some time. I think that determination to find the last two pieces though paid off in that community, because I too have been given a 3 months Deezer Premium subscription. So ‘winner winner, chicken dinner’, here too. That was totally unexpected and I’m ‘thrilled’ by that prize. 

I really enjoyed all the games and as you mention it has made a pleasant change. I also enjoyed learning much more about the Deezer community too and no doubt will visit it regularly, going forward.
