Hello Community Members

This is a step by step visual tutorial on how to set an Alarm with Music  (in the Sonos Appto wake up to; or as reminder, using your favorite tune. Chimes are set by default.

There are a few assumptions made. Such as that you’ve already added at least one (1) music service.

This guide is very granular meaning although there are eighteen (18) steps listed many are intuitive. However, rather than leave anything to chance all steps are presented for completeness.  One of the steps involves selecting a music station of your choice. It can be a “Sonos Favorite” you've already set up in the app; or you can use the “Search” feature to select a station, genre, song or artist.

If you already have a music station set under Sonos Favorites; that you’d like to use as an alarm, you can skip to Step 8.  At the end of this tutorial there are also steps on how to “delete” an alarm.

It is hoped that you find this tutorial useful and that it enhances your enjoyment of Sonos.

The need for this article and its length (‘only’ 18 steps to set an alarm) shows a Sonos and UI fail on so many levels.
