We are currently building a new home with a large outdoor patio leading onto our pool,
My main audio system is very high end and we will be able to hear it when the doors are all open,

But for times when they will be closed, I Would like to have some music of decent quality in the area,

We have Sonos in our TV room and bedroom. So want to stay on brand.

My choices would be 2 Sonance 8” in ceiling with amp, a pair of ERA 300s or a couple of Move  2,s

So what would be the best for overall sound quality?

SONOS AMP and some weatherproof speakers. Depending on the area you want to cover, multiple pairs might be appropriate.

Another approach would be a pair of ROAM 2’s that you take out as needed.

If the patio is covered a set of ceiling speakers and the Amp would work well.

I have 4 Polk Atrium 5s on my garage with a pair facing my deck and another pair facing the pool. The speakers sound great with the extra power the Amp put out at 4 ohms.

This what I would suggest.
