Please oh please can there just be some way to clear all music so each speaker doesn't show something different when you never intend such a thing. Is Sonos ever going to add this much desired feature?

It is so very frustrating… to go from maybe a few days ago listening to one speaker, and a few days later it's still showing that.

You can't unclick all, which would be a simple solution.

Help?

Did you find what you were looking for?

Not sure what you are experiencing and what you want Sonos to do here. Can you explain this and maybe ad some screen prints? Are you grouping speakers?

Especially the sentence “to clear all music so each speaker doesn't show something different when you never intend such a thing” is unclear to me.

Sorry. It was hard to describe. But for example…. the speakers here are showing different music (sounds in this case).  If there was a way to clear all of what's playing and start from a clean slate, so that only the speaker you are currently listening to, shows what's playing.

I know you can toggle it and work around it by having every speaker play the same thing and then unclick.  However it would be so much easier and intuitive to essentially “clear,” or turn off what's playing.  More control.

Imagine if you could see all

your speakers and just hit “clear all.”

Maybe clear the room queue when you’ve finished playing in that room/group - see animated sequence attached from my iPhone controller.

There is an iOS 3rd-party App that can clear all room queues, or chosen queues, called Soro, but it’s not free and it comes with a bit of a learning curve as it uses iOS ‘shortcuts’.

First off ‘Middle Earth’ is an excellent room name.  I wanna hang out in that room.

Second, I don’t recall seeing anyone requesting this before, but I can see why you might want to clear everything across the board as a clean up process.  I want to say that the queue for each room will clear up after set length of time, as my speakers do seem to get an empty queue once in a while, but it seems to hold on for a couple days.

I actually prefer my speakers to retain what they were playing, so I can just use the hard button or voice command to resume playback without thinking about what I want to hear at that moment, but that’s just me.

Thank you for this and for appreciating my speaker name. 🤣.

I saw a request for this years ago. But I guess I am sort of alone on this one.

It just gets very confusing to open the app and see each area or speaker with something different. And then it gets janky/wanky to change it if you want the whole house or some different combination etczz

Thanks all.
