More dynamic application control?

Is the Sonos app. phone and/or desktop ever going to be improved in terms of usability?

Using it feels like it was designed in like 1990 early computer days.  I can’t even change the order of my favorites, how they are viewed? There is no alphabetical, you can’t rearrange, you can’t group delete or remove playlists. On and on. I just don’t understand how this can be.  This great sound system, customized through out the phone, but I’m at the mercy of Sonos decided how a playlist should be organized?

There’s more.    Will it ever improve?

I guess maybe there is some app that you can pay for with better features?

Certainly not Spotify, because that is not compatible enough to control multiple speakers ( on a desktop).

Wah. Complain, complain.

Did you find what you were looking for?

The Desktop app is never going to change.

The phone app went through a huge change, and look how that worked out. Be careful what you ask for.

Regarding Favorites they are delivered in alphabetic order. If you want one at the top, rename it to have a space on the front. Not sure I understand your comments about playlists, but we all know the phone app has removed most playlist support.

There are also plenty of third party apps, try one.

Do you have any recommendations for third party apps? I don't hang out on this thing much and usually I use spotify from my phone which is good but not great.

I use the desktop when I have a big dance party once a year, and that's when I learn how awful the sonos app and the comparability with mac/spotify/sonos etc.

So I'm not in the “we all know that…. category."

Would love some desktop app suggestions that have more dynamic features for controlling one’s music.

I moved from all analogue to Sonos.…trying to embrace it.

I just can't believe how bad the app is.

Thanks.
