Lots of comment here on how much the new aps are broken and/or disliked
I thought it might be useful to Sonos to get a sense of red line functionality. Functionality that - if not added back or fixed - will cause a user to abandon the product. Everyone will be different and that’s the point of this thread.
I am also making the assumption that straight defects (laggy performance, disconnects, devices not found etc.) will be fixed within a reasonable timeframe
I’ll start:
- Playlist/Queue management at least as functional as the last version
- Custom URLs for streaming radio. I’ve tried and rejected Roon because it didn't support this
- Local library access, browsing, searching at least as functional as the last version
Please restrict to redline functionality and avoid venting. I too have spent a lot of money on my system and am less than happy at the moment. But if I cant get the above functionality to work then Sonos is no longer a fit for me
