I have a playbase sub gen 3 and a pair of fives, and am wondering if I should up grade to the arc. My only fear is that there might be an arc gen 2 released this year which would make me suicidal. Also if I was to get the arc would it be a good idea to sell my fives and get the new era 300 for a 7.1.4 set up. The fives are good but not that great, and am guessing the era 300 is not as loud as the fives and am just buying them for atmos. I suppose what I really want to know is how good is the Sonos arc

In the right room, the Arc is great. My room has 9 foot flat ceilings, I sit about 10 feet from the Arc, and the Atmos effects are pronounced for me. I can only imagine what it would sound like with the Era 300’s.
