Question

Suddenly lost ability to add to queue

This was working fine untill this week. Now cannot add a playlist to the queue or select Play next. Replace queue works, Play now works the same as replace queue.

Have tried rebooting everything, ungrouping etc.

Using most up to date Android app. Playlists are added from favourites or Spotify.

Anyone else suddenly experiencing this?

@IanJShaw

There‘s a German user also reporting about that issue using the Sonos Android app.

I recommend you contact Sonos support team and send some diagnostics. So they will be able to do further investigation.

So they’ve fixed the queue re-ordeing which was broken 2 or 3 releases ago, and now broke adding tracks to queue?
Fantastic people.

Of course there are no facts to be clear at the moment. Two users are reporting about an issue and no investigations are done by Sonos, yet. But you take the first chance to blame Sonos… sorry, but for me that sounds more like you are interested in firing at Sonos than in helping other users. But that’s just my personal opinion and maybe I’m wrong.

Yes, that’s just your personal opinion.
Ad hominem one.

And likely a complicated code base.

Even less justification for regular breaking the working functionality and lack of regression testing before release.
This is not about code. This is about people, business processes and responsibility.

Yeah having the exact same issue. Only since the latest app update as well (which was yesterday)

Tried those on Android, App 91.00.33-release+20261023.590619d which is the latest available here.

Adding to the end of a 100 song queue failed, tried an empty one and adding failed there too.

Edit to add, you have to give the app version, "latest" is meaningless with the rolling releases Sonos is using, you could be a version back from  the next user for up to 14 days.

Same here, it broke for me right after the Android app updated yesterday. Add to queue and Play next both fail for me too, on an empty queue as well as a full one, while Play now and Replace queue still work fine. For now I am starting playback with Play now and then using the desktop app when I need to build a queue up, that still works.

Also for you… best you can do is reporting the issue to Sonos support and sending them some diagnostic data.
So they will be aware of the problem and be able to investigate this.

Guys,

To get things rolling, please reproduce the issue, submit diagnostics within 15 minutes, write down the confirmation number, and reach out to Support via phone or chat.
