Playlists completely broken with new app.

I searched the forum with no similar experiences. Am I the only one whose playlist editing disappeared with the new app? There isn’t even an Edit option anymore. I can’t add or delete individual songs for the current playlist. I can only replace the entire queue. It is the same for all music sources. This new version so far has done nothing better and many things much worse, this one  being the biggest for me so far. What gives? Anyone else experiencing this?

7 months on and we are still missing all of our Sonos playlists.

and at this stage, if Sonos is still listening (if they ever listened at all in the first place). I’m now out. I’ve simply had enough and my patience has ended with this platform. That’s it. The next opportunity I get to upgrade / replace speakers they will not (and likely never again will) be Sonos speakers. So long Sonos.

Sonos just did an update on my app today.  Have no idea what it was supposed to accomplish but it’s still not the service I originally got when using the speakers.  I can use airplay on my computer to play my music tracks.  It is not perfect but it is better than nothing.  To bad Sonos decided to ruin a good application.

Feel the same way. I immediately delete every email announcing Sonos products for sale. I will never buy another one now after this fiasco.

You know, you could save yourself time & aggravation by just ‘unsubscribing’ from Sonos emails.

Same here … Sonos playlist still not working on my iPhone. I like the speakers and have been using Apple Music for my new playlists and I can attach the Sonos speakers to Apple Music … I guess until Sonos next updates removed the ability to do that.

More fun to delete them

Is a rollback available? Earlier versions were functional. When my software company launched we kept a rollback version handy … in case. In case something went wrong.

Something went wrong, perhaps a rollback is archived somewhere? tar’d? zip file?

The answer is leave Sonos. There's better stuff out there

Good to see the update from December say that they are looking to restore playlist editing still. I wondered if it was gone for good. Phew.

I cannot believe we are now in March 2024 and we still cannot save or edit a queue. It is almost a year later! Is anybody from Sonos reading these user comments that losing this feature is a major issue. I would also never buy another Soho’s system and will be reviewing what else is out there. You are almost out of time Sonos.
