Has Napster replaced Pandora?

When I play music from a Pandora station, Sonos shows the song title “on Napster” instead of “on Pandora”.  What has changed?

Hi @AustinJerry & @mduf,

Thanks for checking, I’ll report back to the team to let them know. When I last spoke with them it did seem like they had other fixes in mind, so I think another update should come sooner rather than later.

If you two have your Sonos accounts under the same email address as your community account, could you please submit a diagnostics after starting playback and seeing the wrong logo in the app. You don’t need to reply with the diagnostics number if that’s the case, just reply here that you’ve sent one and I can forward it to our engineers.

Again, if there are any updates I’ll reply here and let you all know.

Diagnostic has been sent.

Just to clarify, this only happens on my Android apps for my all-S1 system.

Windows app {Win 11} shows Pandora under the album art and shows the Pandora logo in the source list, so nothing wrong there.

I am not seeing the Napster issue with my Windows 10 S1 client either.  The problem is only on my iOS devices.

Jamie, we haven’t heard from you for a while.  Any update on getting this issue resolved?

FWIW, since we have older Sonos products we both use Sonos 1 app. My wife is getting the Napster thing and mine displays Pandora. She has an LG V60 and I'm on a Samsung s22 Ultra

@Wally Plahutnik I would recommend she uninstall and reinstall the app, making sure the app storage is cleared at the time, seems like she has bad data in her music service cache.

Not a coder but the simplest explanation would be that someone at Sonos accidentally or ironically assigned the Napster graphic to Pandora in one of the updates. Someone who can look at the code for the display should be able to figure it out in a minute.
