Sonos Airplay audio for Apple TV games?

I’m using a Sonos One SL stereo pair with my Apple TV and it works great… until I change to an Apple TV game. Then all of the audio disappears.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to use Airplay 2 for Apple TV game audio?

You might get a better answer if you were to post on an Apple-centric forum, since it’s really a question about AirPlay 2, rather than the Sonos itself.
