I cannot seem to find a way to add songs to playlist in the new app. when I click on the ••• next to a song while another is playing, the only option now appears to be Replace Queue, and no ability to insert the song. what am I missing?

I tried to add a song today, 9/13/24 and noticed this problem. Glad it isn't just me, but sad it exists and has for many months. I am not a fan of the new app, it seems childish and grossly inefficient in appearance. Now its functionality is in question.

Sonos, if you're listening, know this:  it takes several good reasons to buy a product, and one bad reason to pass on it. As an economist, I am not in the habit of throwing good money after bad. Get it right, Sonos. Fire someone, or prepare yourself to be unceremoniously tossed with yesterday's garbage. For the money I spent on the system I have, believe me, everyone in my universe will know and understand what happened here.

Even if this issue is corrected, the app and the playlist, unless you actually fire someone quite loudly so that we know about it, I will still warn people away from Sonos. You’ve failed at your core mission, allowing the consumer to listen to music unhindered by your ideology and incompetence.

You're a speaker, not a pontificator of bad ideas.

I´m sorry but for the love of God fix so we can add, delete and create our PLAYLISTS. The new app has been a trainwreck from the beginning but this is getting ridicules. When you invest thousand of money in your products you have certain expectations. Sonos fxxked up once before with the S1/S2 but you accepted that you did and tried to compensate your customers by discount when they were forced to upgrade. The customers kind of accepted this and went along. Now you did it again but this time NO compensation. Just a s***** letter saying that you fxxked up. What has happened after that? You have released some new products that I´m sure sounds good but works just as bad as the rest with the new APP. A company that has a good customer relations doesn´t do that. They fix the problem, compensate there customer base THEN tries to make more money of them. I were so proud 15 years ago when I bought my firs amp from you. It was expensive but I worked and saved up for it. I think of how I would feel if I were a new customer today. Don´t treat your customer like this, new or old.

Why I am no longer able to search Sonos for songs and add them to my existing playlist save in Sonos playlist?

Over a week ago I emailed their customer support about this issue, asking for an update. They never responded. What a way to treat your customers, very disappointed.

Hi @Sadie bear

We do not use email as a support channel - unless you replied to an email from us relating to an existing case, no-one will have seen the email you sent. Please contact us via phone or chat instead.

I hope this helps.

I did reply to an email from your department one week ago and never received a response. I even addressed it to the individual that sent me the email. I’ve spent a lot of time sending diagnostic codes only to get no response/ no satisfaction.

Hi @Sadie bear

Understood - it looks like Unal might be off work at the moment, but someone else should have picked up your case by now. I’ll see what I can do to get someone over in America to look into this for you (Unal and I are in Europe, so usually only handle European cases).

When is the function being returned, that’s what I want to know?
it’s quite clear that no one wanted it to be removed in the first place.
I have stopped using the app pretty much altogether as it never connects, is clunky & I can’t edit playlists, change the volume easily etc.

Surely Sonos should be listening to feedback & implementing fixes? I used to really believe in Sonos products but this app update has really let me down.

Hi @Krissix

We’re aiming to have playlist editing added in December, as mentioned in this article:

I hope this helps.
