It has been almost a year and this new app is unusable. The other one worked great, but was forced to upgrade when I made the dire mistake of buying more. I’ve gotten rid of a few speakers because it wouldn’t be compatible with the new app which cost me money. I have nine speakers right now and two of them work all the time, the rest on and I’ve tried many times to hook them to the same network, etc. Been through it. When is anybody going to be accountable at Sonos. Firing people doesn’t help all of us. Fix it or pay people back.

‘Unable to load content’ has to be the most infuriating & frustrating 4 words in Sonos history. That and opening this shoddy app that makes most systems unworkable, to find glossy ads for their latest product, or offering a 20% discount for new products that need to be purchased within a stipulated time frame. When all I want, what I really really really want, is a working hassle free app like we had back in the day. The sound quality that I used to love & enjoy is nothing but a distant memory now. And on top of all that, is the Radom intermittent interference that can send one over the edge.
I don’t think a new anything should be released until this ‘upgraded’ app is sorted 100%, with ALL the features the old reliable app had (I’m looking at you customisable playlists) & there shld be no time limits on when to spend the 20% discount voucher. How Sonos can even think that an yone wld be interested in buying a new product until this shambolic app is sorted 100% is just stunning to be honest. You wld think they wld have offered some sort of compensation to their loyal customers for all the irritation, frustration & inconvenience this app has caused, like a gratis Move speaker for example.
C’mon Sonos, don’t make the next 20yrs a misery by not fixing and sorting the app out once and for all.
