Question

Why does the "About My System" information in the new App not include the WM:0 and WM:1 information that is shown under the My System information in the old S2 App?

I don’t understand why the new App doesn’t include the WM:0 and WM:1 information?

Hey @David Wilkinson Canada,

Welcome to the Sonos Community and apologies for the late reply.

The Wireless Mode of a Sonos system can currently only be viewed in the Sonos Desktop Controller.

Is the “Desktop Controller” the Windows S2 version or the new Web Controller? Thanks Gabriel Z.

That would be the actual Desktop Controller for Windows or Mac - unaltered “S2” 🙂

The Sonos Web Controller omits the Wireless Mode information as well.

That’s a very good question! Why do you give us less information than before? Why, all of the sudden, do we need a desktop computer to get informations about our Sonos Network ?

Your new app is terrible. I’m a Sonos entousiast for 10y+. Bough Sonos to family and friends (tones!). Now my parents cannot use it because the app is too confusing, volume lag all the time. Please change your app.

Try “Phonos Plus” from the app store: shows a lot of data, including the wireless mode.
