This is still an issue for me (has been for months).  I’ve tried all of the restarting, updates, etc.  Is there any solution for this on the software side?  It’s only the Arc that is having the issue and controlling from the App.  The remote and physical buttons work fine.

Check your system settings and make sure that all of the players are using the same version. Occasionally, a player may fail to update with the others.

@buzz  - All speakers are showing V16.7 except for the Arc that shows blank (the speaker that is having the issue).  I’m assuming this isn’t expected…..Do you know how I can force load/update the Arc?  When I go into system settings and check for updates, it says everything is up to date.

The builds shown here are the same.

Force close and restart the controller App. You could also uninstall then reinstall the App. All of the important details are stored in the players. I don’t recommend Factory Reset at this time.

@buzz  - Thank you for the suggestions.  I tried both but still having an issue.

Now it gets messy. UnBond the surrounds and SUB(s) from ARC and factory reset (only) ARC, then add it to your system. Take care at this step and do not start a new system. I expect that the ARC Volume control will be active at this point. It would not be wrong to reboot the surrounds and SUB(s). Now you can Bond the surrounds and SUB(s) to ARC.

You may need to go through a Room name drill with the units. I’ll give the surrounds and SUB(s) easily recognizable names such as “Liv_LS” for the left surround. After the speakers are bonded to ARC they’ll there will be only one main Room, but as you probe around, distinctive individual Room names for each speaker are handy. Note that I haven’t rebuilt a system running the very latest software. If you are likely to have two “Living Room”s, temporarily rename one of them.

@buzz  - Before I got this reply, I deleted all three apps that were linked to my system (my phone, wife’s phone & iPad).  I then restarted my ARC and then reinstalled the app on my phone.  I then clicked the “reset app” button and then joined my system again.  It seems to be working at this point (I haven’t started to install apps on other devices yet).  Thank you for your suggestions.

Good!

Factory Reset is rarely needed and is messy. I expect you’ll be OK going forward.
