Almost all of my Mac software updates effortlessly. Sonos, on the other hand, doesn't like MacOS and never has. Thus, to update, Mac users must locate their Sonos app in the Applications folder, delete it, then go back to the Sonos website, find the download link, then download it. Once downloaded, it needs to be dragged to the Applications folder. How archaic? Is there a better way that I'm missing?

Barring any knowledge about which MacOS you’re currently running, or on what hardware, my notes from all the other threads in the forum about the issue say that you should authorize the “Sonos Installer” under System Settings > Privacy & Security > App Management.
