Hello,

I am unable for some time to launch a radio from a title from Spotify from the Sonos app. The app says “the connection to Spotify have been lost”. 

  • The connection to Spotify is active (everything else related to Spotify works)
  • I’ve tried to reauthorise the account - changes nothing
  • I have this issue with any title

If you’ve tried removing and reinstalling Spotify from your Sonos controller, and rebooted both your router, and the Sonos speakers, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

no luck there.

Yep, also for me don't work and it doesn't work in any song, try to contact the support or Spotify to find a solution. A quickly, but no the best solution: put the radio in Spotify and afet with Spotify Connect connect to your system, also if you select the three point icon you can select the speakers to play the music :)

Sorry to hear about this issue you are having with being unable to play radio stations from Spotify.

I was able to reproduce this issue on my own system (or so it seemed - the speaker would play, but the app would not admit it) - but only up until the point where I rebooted the speaker.

I recommend you unplug your speaker from power for a few seconds, then plug it back in again.

If the speaker still won't play Spotify radio after that, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

This seems to be a known issue lately with Spotify on Sonos.
Try removing Spotify from the Sonos app completely, then re-adding it that’s worked for some users.
Also, make sure both apps are fully updated.
