WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO UPDATE THE PRODUCTS AND APP??!!   Seriously this is absolute garbage the way your speakers drop steaming music - EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE SOLD TO DO.   

 

this is Walmart level quality now.  I would not recommend Sonos to either of my ex wives. 
 

Ok, maybe one of them. But yall need to get it together.   Nothing but snake oil salesmen at this point.   
 

I prefer my UA Boom over your s**t speakers.  At least I can hear songs in their entirety.

If your having drop offs you should troubleshoot why - that wouldn’t be a current app issue    Sometimes you have to troubleshoot to optimize how they are all connected

They are updating the app every 3 weeks, sometimes 2. But the app is such a dog breakfast it’s taking forever to fix.

They updated the app 2 times this week as they work to get it functioning the way everyone wants.

It has come a long way in past month and for the most part has all the old options back.


fully updated with today’s release.

It’s still complete garbage isn’t it? Drops connection all the time. Can’t find content. Doesn’t drive from multiple devices. 
 

And, as everyone has said, it did pretty much everything fine until the nuke update what 6 months ago?

well, maybe it’s not the app, but what i do know is that until a few months ago my system worked perfectly for years - all 3 speakers stayed on the wifi, i could group them as i wished, and spotify could always find them. now, the speakers don’t stay on the network, or the app says there’s no system set up, or it only finds 2 of my speakers and still won’t group them. and the 3rd one is on its own system, and i can’t seem to delete that one. i have done all the troubleshooting that sonos suggest. i will be calling support when i have a couple free hours to spend on this.

You’re right of course.

If there was a junior at the other desk in my office and they’d produced this garbage and somehow managed to get it past me to get it actioned, they’d be toast. 
 

and the simping apologists on boards like this should hang their heads in shame alongside Sonos management. It continues to be an utter disgrace.

I just bought a Beam 2 and 2 ERA speakers. This is a nightmare. I thought Sonos was reputable. Probably taking all this crap back.

BTW ...The app is horrible. For anyone non technical…..run for the hills. Do not buy.

@krelldog I would agree the app has its quirks. I’ve mentioned them elsewhere on this forum.

But if you  explain what problems you encountered maybe someone can help you. This does not help anyone.
