I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, if and when you can, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

How do we submit a system diagnostic report from the app when the app doesn’t open?

That certainly would be a problem, so I would just call Sonos, and get them to assist you until you can get the app open. At that point, they’d likely want you to submit the diagnostic, so they could then see all the data.

Same annoying problem here on 2 regularly updated iPhones and  2 iPads. When starting the app it only shows the blackish start screen and after a few seconds it is disappearing. Wondering how Sonos could help me when calling. Obviously, the app is suddenly producing garbage data in the app and  reinstalling cleans it out again for a few days, in my opinion…

funny fact: since they did the „major overhaul“ the only app which is working without any glitch since, is the PC Win Controller

New Sonos app is complete crap.  Sonos for me was a flagship in this industry, but it completely failed with it’s new development.  Shame for a company of this caliber.

I am also having the same issue. iPhone 15 with 18.1.1, just reinstalled it again today to work. Let's see for how long it will continue to work.
