Sonos System No Longer Found Mac

Hello!

Not sure if it's Mac OS related or Sonos app related but I can no longer find my system on my Mac mini. My iPhone works fine and my MacBook Pro also works fine discovering the system. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, made sure network and firewall access was enabled and still nothing. Anyone have similar issue with a fix?

Not really enough information to tell, I’m afraid. Kneejerk thought is a network issue, potentially with you Mac connected to a different ‘node’ than your other devices, and getting put on a different subnet….but as I say, that’s just a guess. Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it?

I have not called yet as last time I did this with a software bug with Sonos amp, it was a multi month adventure. I have a feeling it's a Mac OS issue as a laptop and my phone have no issues. I did go through steps given by their “support bot” and none of it solved the issue. I even uninstalled and deleted files in my library and re-installed to no help. I will say even after uninstalling, when reinstalling my Mac doesn't pop up any of the security questions like it does with other freshly installed apps (asking permission to the network, etc etc).

Honestly (is there any other way to post?) I have little faith in A.I. ‘bots. I’d much rather speak to a human. They may not understand my issue all the time, but at least for now, I suspect the chances for a successful resolution are higher. And even more so if your experience with the ‘bot has failed.

Yeah thats why I was hoping to bounce some ideas around in here first before giving them a call. I was hoping scrubbing the app completely off the computer and re-installing would help but no luck.
