On Android the alarm using the number keypad isn't staying open to set the time

So is now useless.

Update, switch your keyboard to anything other than the Samsung Keyboard, and works fine.

Issue is with the Samsung Keyboard specifically.

Working OK for me currently... would be nice to have a 24hr option rather than am/pm though.

Would seem that this is new functionality and not supported on Android 16.

@Bruce_s I hate to dissolution you but I am on Android 16 (latest version, pixel 10) and direct keyboard input of alarm time does work OK for me 🤔

Are you on a manufacturer Android flavour, like Samsung?

Just the update from the Sonos Bot

I am not disillusioned or even dissolutioned I just want the functionality to work!

What difference does having a manufacturer version make?

Use the app to Check for Updates to ensure all your devices are at the current revision. Check your phone(s) for any updates. Then power off all devices and restart them.

Disillusion 🙄 sorry autocorrect... Google products use pure Android since it is produced by them. Pretty much all others will use manufacturer modified Android 'flavours' to impose/brand/promote/add/block features and behaviour. Samsung actually do this quite heavily.

Some refer to this as bloatware which, in some cases, is a justified slur. It is also why manufacturer Android updates tend to lag behind those from Google, sometimes slightly, sometimes considerably and sometimes not at all!

I asked as it seems you have a pretty unusual issue. I was wondering if it may be something specific to your device and/or manufacturer that may be causing the it...

Same issue, Samsung S24 Ultra. Very annoying. Manufacturer skin or not, there is clearly something an issue within the sonos app. Why? Because the 200 other apps on my phone don't have this issue and work fine.

These things happen, just want it sorted.

So probably an issue for Samsung to address?
